FAQ - How it works

What is car detailing?
Car detailing is a deep cleaning and restoration process for both the interior and exterior of your vehicle. It goes beyond a standard car wash by removing dirt, grime (salt!), and minor imperfections while protecting the car’s surfaces.
What do I need?
We require access to water and electricity to perform the service.
How long does a detailing service take?
The time varies depending on the service package you choose as well as the condition of your vehicle. A basic exterior wash and wax may take about 1 hour, while a full interior and exterior detail typically takes 2-4 hours to complete.
How often should I get my car detailed?
It depends on your driving habits. We recommend a full detail every 3-6 months. There is a best time! We suggest detailing your vehicle in the spring to clean the salt buildup from the winter months.

Do I need to book an appointment?
Yes, we recommend scheduling an appointment to ensure availability. However, we may accommodate same-day service depending on our schedule.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash and e-transfer
What areas do you service?
We provide services in Ottawa and surrounding areas (Orléans, Vanier, South Keys, Centretown, Barrhaven, Nepean, Bells Corners, Kanata, Stittsville, Carleton place, Kemptville) We offer mobile detailing, where we come to your location.
How much does detailing cost?
Prices vary based on the vehicle size and the package chosen (interior/complete). Contact us for a custom quote.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that things come up! Please try to give us at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Last-minute cancellations may be subject to a fee.

What products do you use?
We use professional-grade, eco-friendly cleaning solutions that are safe for your family and vehicle’s surfaces. Simple Green, Carnauba Wax, Glass cleaner and cleaning vinegar solutions.

Can you detail my car while I’m at work?
Yes! As long as we have access to your vehicle and water/electricity, we can complete the service while you focus on your day.

Will detailing remove scratches from my car?
Minor scratches, scuffs and swirl marks can sometimes be removed with polishing and waxing. However, deeper scratches may require paint correction services. We remove the dirt, all of it!
Can you detail my car while I’m at work?
Yes! As long as we have access to your vehicle and water/electricity, we can complete the service while you focus on your day.
Do I need to clean out my car before my appointment?
We recommend removing personal belongings and valuables before detailing. This helps us focus on cleaning as soon as we arrive!
